Why see a naturopath?
Are you feeling out of sorts or just not operating at your best?
Do you feel stressed, tired and frustrated?
Would you like more energy and to feel more calm and relaxed?
I truly enjoy helping others to gain the most out of life, through a better understanding of nutrition and how the body works.
I’ve developed this knowledge through personal experience, extensive study and nine years in professional practice. I’ve suffered from fatigue, digestive issues, hormone imbalances and mood swings. I absolutely know what it’s like not to sleep at night and to wake up with a sense of dread about the day ahead. Thankfully, today I have a much deeper understanding of what my body needs and what it responds to.
My goal with each new client is to customize a protocol that works – taking into consideration each person’s time, budget and personal circumstances. Above all, I’m a realist. I’ll work with you to find what you need right now and how we can get you moving in the right direction – one step at a time.
I understand that life is busy and you need to see results quickly. Most of my clients see results within two weeks, just from making minor tweaks to their routine and eating habits. Often it’s the small and consistent changes that can have the greatest impact, so we’ll look for these first.
Together we’ll map out a plan that works for you and is achievable – taking into consideration all of your other commitments. We want these new changes to stick, so we’ll aim to build in simple routines that are easy to maintain and create maximum benefits for your wellbeing.
I’m not about deprivation. I’m about skilling you with the knowledge to make positive choices for yourself and your health. You can still have a glass of wine with dinner or some dark chocolate or amazing soft cheese – just learn how to balance it out and listen to your body, so that you don’t feel drained or bloated for weeks at a time.
It’s incredibly fulfilling to help people to get their energy back, build resilience, wake up refreshed and to feel a sense of optimism about the future. It’s a beautiful gift to be able to help someone shift from feeling flat and frustrated to skipping out of their session with renewed vitality and the knowledge to maintain their own wellbeing.
My first intention is to help you to understand your body better. Each of us is unique and it can take a couple of sessions to learn your history and where you’re at right now. From here we create a plan that will work for you and is easy to maintain. After all, there is no point getting the knowledge, if you can’t then apply it. I want you to be able to understand the reasons for making changes, not just following what I recommend to the letter.
I was having stomach pains for over a year and after tests and an endoscopy, my doctor could not give me an answer on what was causing the pain and told me it was probably reflux and prescribed tablets. This did not fix the problem and that’s when I decided to see you.
Within 2 months of a prescribed diet and natural supplements, my stomach was free of pain and my overall health had improved. I recently saw my doctor for my annual health check and my cholesterol had dropped from 5.8 to 4.5 and my blood pressure was at a very healthy level!
Thank you for your patience and understanding the cause of my problem. I not only came away pain free but also feel a younger man!
I look forward to hearing from you and finding out how it is that I can support you to take some time for yourself and to focus on your wellbeing. I’m here to support and guide you on your journey, but ultimately it’s up to you to choose yourself first.
